Weird luck swings and what’s even going on?

Some days I jump into a few games, nothing fancy, just killing time after work, and boom — I hit small wins back to back like I suddenly understand the universe. Then other days it's like everything flips, spins go cold, bonuses vanish, and I'm just staring at the screen thinking "why did I even start?" Is this just normal variance or am I missing something obvious? Maybe timing, maybe game choice, maybe just bad mood? Curious how you all deal with these swings without going slightly insane.
